Shangri-La's executive leadership team provides strategic and operational leadership to the organization and is responsible for its daily operations.

Janet Yousey

Chief Executive Officer

Janet became Shangri-La's CEO in April 2018. Her background includes consulting work focused on organizational development related to leadership, strategy, and execution.  She has a MBA from Old Dominion University and currently serves as a board member for the Nonprofit Association of Oregon.

"I hope to add to the legacy Shangri-La currently holds in the community as a thriving, dedicated, and deeply person-centered organization committed to building inclusive communities. My specific role is to hold steadfast focus on our mission and vision and ensure all strategies and plans directly influence our abilities to support our mission and achieve our vision."

Director of Finance

Andre joined the Shangri-La team in April 2021 with 17 years of accounting and production in the manufacturing industry. He aims to apply many of the streamlined accounting practices he learned in the for-profit world to daily operations at Shangri-La.

"I hope to simplify the accounting processes at Shangri-La so others can freely concentrate on continuing to assist our community."

Jean Mccormick

Director of Human Resources

Jean became Shangri-La's director of human resources in 2023. Her background includes nearly two decades of varied experience in human resources with extensive knowledge in payroll/human capital management systems including performance, succession planning, goal setting, and employee engagement modules. She has a degree in Organizational Behavior from the University of San Francisco.

 

"I hope my collaborative approach and focus on strong processes and continuous improvement will allow the human resources department to be a key contributor to the organization's Project Impact and employee engagement goals."

Ashley Erb 

Director of Community Engagement

Ashley works to ensure Shangri-La has the resources (donors, volunteers, partners) it needs to fulfill its mission. She also oversees the organization's print and digital media and communications. Ashley has a degree in communication studies from Western Oregon University, was a Certified Volunteer Administrator (CVA) for five years, and served as the president of the Mid Valley Volunteer Managers Association for eight years. She joined Shangri-La's Community Engagement Team in 2010 and became the director in January 2017.

James Lindekugel

Director of Employment
and Day Services

James manages Shangri-La's employment and day services programs for individuals with disabilities and families with disadvantages. He joined Shangri-La's executive team in January 2021, but has been with the organization in various roles since 2012. James is a Certified Employment Support Professional (CESP). In addition to his experience in human services, James brings skills in technology management, data analytics, and change management to the team.

Tiffani Olsen

Director of I/DD and APD Residential Services 

Tiffani began working as a direct support professional at Shangri-La in 1997. Over the years, she has also worked as an ISP/medical coordinator, house manager, and regional manager. Tiffani became a director in August 2018 overseeing residential services for 24-hour, supported living, and in-home services for individuals with intellectual/developmental disabilities, and specialized Aging and People with Disabilities (APD) contracts. Tiffani is well known for her collaboration, positivity, and problem-solving capabilities.

Robin WInkle 

 Director of Operations

and Homeless Services 

Robin oversees Shangri-La's youth and family services program, homeless services programs, and Shangri-La's property management team. She joined the Shangri-La team in 1987 and has worked in numerous positions in the company over her tenure. Currently, Robin serves as the board secretary for the Rural Oregon Continuum of Care and holds an Oregon contractor's license.

Bradley Leland

 Director of Behavioral Health Services 

Bradley has been a member of the Shangri-La team since 2009. Throughout his time at Shangri-La, he has worked in many different roles within Shangri-La's mental health residential services program. He started as a direct support professional, served as an on-site manager at a residential treatment home (RTH), and eventually became a program manager providing training and guidance to on-site managers at several RTHs. Bradley became the Behavioral Health Director in December 2022. He is knowledgeable in assessing client needs, working within Oregon Administrative Rules, leading teams, and is a strong advocate for the implementation of therapeutic best practices.

 

"I hope to apply my extensive experience with residential behavioral health treatment, as well as my collaborative leadership skills, to bridge all behavioral health services at Shangri-La into a cohesive, sustainable program that serves to further the organization's mission."

Aalicea dominguez

Executive Assistant

Aalicea provides support to Shangri-La's CEO, executive team, and board of directors. She joined the Shangri-La team in 2011 and worked in several administrative assistant roles before becoming the executive assistant in 2018. Aalicea is most well known for her organization, multi-tasking abilities, and ability to streamline processes and procedures.

 

"I hope to support the organization by freeing up other's time to do the strategic thinking and planning necessary to propel Shangri-La into the future."
