Become a work experience site

Parents in Shangri-La's Youth and Family Services Program are seeking work experience opportunities to learn and practice skills, gain on-the-job training, and explore career paths with the hope of achieving greater self-sufficiency and reducing their reliance on government assistance.

Businesses can offer 3 or 6-month, 20-30 hours per week, unpaid or wage-subsidized work experience opportunities.

Liability insurance is provided. With subsidized wage opportunities, wages, FICA, federal and state unemployment insurance, and worker’s compensation insurance costs are reimbursed.
