2020 Capital city cornhole classic
** tournament CANCELED **
Update July 28, 2020
Seven weeks ago, when we made the decision to move forward with the Capital City Cornhole Classic, we were hopeful that Oregon would continue on its path of re-opening.
However, given current trends and the most current statewide mandate (effective July 24, 2020) that now limits outdoor gatherings to 100 people or less (which does apply to our venue at the State Capitol), we have made the incredibly difficult decision to cancel the 2020 Capital City Cornhole Classic.
Yes, losing a major fundraiser is a hurdle we will have to overcome, but even more so, this decision was so difficult because of the incredible players and partners that have expressed so much support, excitement and admiration for this event, in years past, and especially this year.
We cannot thank the regional cornhole community enough for how they have helped grow this tournament and hope that your enthusiasm and love for the game will only continue to grow as we look towards future Capital City Cornhole Classics.
The Shangri-La team that puts on this event is incredibly bummed that they won’t get to see many of your faces this year at the tournament but wants you to know that you are so appreciated.
As promised, due to a COVID-19 related cancelation, if you have already registered for the tournament, we will mail you your refund check within the next 1-2 weeks.
