2022 TOURNAMENT DETAILS
STOP. READ BEFORE REGISTERING.
Who should play in this division?
Is four-bagging just another day at the office? Do you air mail so often that the USPS is starting to get jealous? Can you pick up any set of bags and throw lights out with them? Is your current mental state tied to your ACL ranking or Scoreholio stats? Is your phone full of photos of you in the winner's circle? If so, then you're probably an advanced player. This player can execute sliding the bag and airmailing the bag as needed. Player fully understands game strategy and likely plays and practices on a regular basis. Scoreholio SPR: 60 and above. ACL Dekaround: 71-120. ACL Skill Level: Advanced, Competitive
FORMAT
Pick your own partner. 5 game minimum guarantee. Teams are blind drawn into a pool for round robin play. The top 2-4 teams (depending on total registration) from each pool will advance to a double elimination bracket. Teams are blind drawn into the double elimination bracket.
MIXED LEVEL PARTNERS
If you are playing with a partner of a different skill level, please follow these guidelines:
Advanced with Intermediate: You should register for advanced.
Advanced with Social: You should register for intermediate.
Who should play in this division?
Does your game swing from moments of absolute glory to absolute garbage? Do you send a prayer with every air mail attempt? Does hitting a four bagger still surprise you a little? Are you consistently in the middle of the pack in league or tournament play? Is a photo of you in the winner's circle still a prized gem? If so, you're probably an intermediate player. This player generally understands game strategy, but may struggle with consistency. This player has a feel for the distance needed to toss the bag, but can be erratic in getting the bag to consistently be where it needs to be. Scoreholio SPR: 59 and below, ACL Dekaround: 31-70, ACL Skill Level: Competitive, Intermediate.
Intermediate with Advanced: You should register for advanced.
Intermediate with Social: You should register for intermediate.

Who should play in this division?
Do you miss the board more than you hit it? Do you have to get a refresher on scoring each time you play? Does getting a bag in the hole feel like you just won the lottery? Are you only playing to support Shangri-La? If so, you're probably a social player. This player has limited experience with the game and usually has very little control over where the bag is going. Some players have a feel for the distance needed to toss the bag, but can be erratic in getting the bag to consistently be in the middle of the board.
FORMAT
Pick your own partner. 3 game minimum guarantee. Teams are blind drawn into a pool for round robin play. The top 1-2 teams (depending on total registration) from each pool will advance to a double elimination bracket. Teams are blind drawn into the double elimination bracket.
MIXED LEVEL PARTNERS
If you are playing with a partner of a different skill level, please follow these guidelines:
Social with Advanced: You should register for intermediate.
Social with Intermediate: You should register for intermediate, but social is an option if your partner is a true, true social player.

In partnership with RALI-Oregon: outh ages 12 and under are invited to play in our youth bracket. Bring your own bags. 2 game guarantee. Max 12 players are blind drawn into a double elimination bracket. Division needs at least 8 players registered to take place.
In partnership with RALI-Oregon: Didn't advance to the bracket in your division, but want to keep playing? Register to play in the singles bonus bracket in the afternoon. This bracket is open to all skill levels. Bring your own bags. 2 game guarantee. Max 24 players are blind drawn into a double elimination bracket.

*NEW* AIR MAIL 50/50 TEAM RELAY EVENT
Presented by RALI-Oregon: A team of 4 throwers will compete to see how many air mails they can successfully throw in 5 minutes.
-
How does it work? Each thrower will have one bag. A team member will throw -- hopefully scoring an air mail. Once their bag is released that player will retrieve their bag from the other side of the court. The next thrower can toss their bag once the previously thrown bag is in the hand of the previous thrower. The team will cycle through the line-up as many times as possible in the 5 minutes.
-
Who wins? Each successful air mail is worth 1 point. The team with the most points will split the pot of money with Shangri-La.
-
Costume bonus points: Teams competing in coordinated costumes will be awarded 4 points before the competition begins. Costumes must be family-friendly, include something different than the players' regular clothing for the day (league jerseys/t-shirts do not count), and must have a coordinated theme worn by all team members.
