Wednesday Wheelers

This social group of wheelchair users meets every Wednesday at various locations in Eugene to explore paths and paved trails and connect socially through movement. Open to manual and power wheelchairs, and regular or situational wheelchair users. Hyprov: Improv Under Hypnosis

Puzzled! - A Puzzle Competition

March 15      1pm - 4pm

Eugene, Oregon

$10 per person

Puzzled is a fast-paced, fun-filled puzzle-building competition designed for puzzle enthusiasts of all skill levels. This timed event will challenge individuals and teams of two to complete a jigsaw puzzle as quickly as possible through multiple elimination-style rounds. Each round will feature puzzles ranging from 100-500 pieces, carefully selected to ensure a consistent level of difficulty. More info here.

Cherry City Blossom Day

The third Saturday of March is Cherry Blossom Day at the Capitol. Celebrate Spring, the blossoming cherry trees in the Capitol Mall and the impact of the Japanese culture on our state. We will be celebrating with booths, activities and performances from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Free and open to the public. Parking is free on Saturday. More info here.

Family Clay Sunday Glazing Day 

March 1 & 15        11am - 3pm

Family Clay Sundays are back. We now offer an "early bird" hour from 11:00 - 12:00 for families that prefer a quieter setting and simpler projects.

$5 per artist to create a new project on the first Sunday of the month. $5 for glazing day on the third Sunday of the month. We will offer bisque pieces to purchase at $5 each for those who didn't attend the first Sunday session so everyone can enjoy glaze day. More info here.

Cherry City Classic

Wooden Shoe Tulip Festival

Oregon’s favorite springtime event. From hot air balloons, wine tastings, and our specialty gift shop to our food & craft market, children’s play area, and endless photo opportunities.
Each spring, visitors from all over the world come to witness a display of millions of tulips across 40 acres of fields. Stroll through designated pathways with fields of tulips as your backdrop. More info here.

Spring Whale Watch Week

March 21 - 29      10pm - 4pm

Yachats, Oregon

Free!

Approximately 20,000 gray whales will travel north to the cold waters of Alaska. Late March through June is the peak of the spring whale migration past Oregon. Talk to knowledgeable volunteers at the Yachats State Recreation Area, Cape Perpetua and Heceta Head Lighthouse all week long from 10 a.m. - 4 p.m. Spring Whale Watch Week is part of the "Whale Watching Spoken Here" by the Oregon Parks and Recreation Department.
