Impact Summit - Oct 2

The Impact Summit is a conference-style opportunity for Shangri-La employees to gather for development and connection.​

Registration

After confirming which day to attend, employees must complete their own registration. Registration is open on 9/1 through 11:50 p.m. on 9/20.

Check-In

All employees must be checked in BY 9:00 a.m. Check-in opens at 8:00 a.m. at the 2nd floor lobby near the Grant-Highland rooms. The conference starts promptly at 9:00 a.m.

What should I bring?

A positive attitude and an open, ready-to-learn mind and anything you need to stay engaged -- like fidgets, a doodle pad, etc. 

How should I dress?

Sports team attire is encouraged -- hats, shirts, jerseys, etc.! Casual but polished. Conference rooms may run cold or hot, so consider dressing in layers to accommodate both.

Is food provided?

Lunch and snacks are provided. Breakfast is not provided.

Dietary Needs and Accommodations

Lunch will include seasoned beef brisket, pulled chicken or butternut squash tacos served with a selection of soft corn tortillas and warm flour tortillas, Spanish rice, beans, and toppings of shredded cheese, crema, salsa, jalapenos, diced onion, sliced radish, cilantro, and cabbage or shredded lettuce.

While we will do our best to accommodate these dietary needs: vegan, vegetarian, gluten-free, dairy-free, and nut-free (as you indicated in your registration form) we cannot guarantee an allergen-free environment.

If you have dietary needs not listed or severe allergies where cross-contamination may be a concern or the menu presented does not meet your tastes, please plan to bring your own food to ensure your safety and comfort.

Event Location and Parking

The Impact Summit is located at Broadway Commons (1300 Broadway St NE) in Salem. Upon arrival, please head to the 2nd-floor lobby via the stairway from the main floor (Broadway Coffeehouse) or the elevators. Free parking is available on the street and in the parking lots surrounding Broadway Commons. Accessible parking spaces are available in the attached lot on the east side of the building.

Smoking Areas

There is a smoking area with a cigarette receptacle near the outdoor arena. Do not smoke within 20 feet of any building entrance. Please be cautious of guests using the Broadway Commons patio area by smoking further away or in a different direction if it appears the smoke is blowing in their direction or if smoke is entering the building through the sliding doors.

Elevators

Broadway Commons has two elevators. Follow signs to locate elevators.

Registration Change?

If you need to change your registration, have your supervisor email communityengagement@shangrila-or.org to request the change. Change requests are dependent on seat availability.

New Hires?

If you have a new employee who missed the registration deadline, please email communityengagement@shangrila-or.org to request access to the registration form.
