What's happening at Shangri-La in response to the "Stay Home, Stay Healthy" executive order from Governor Brown?
Shangri-La's amazing Direct Support Professionals and committed essential program administration are still out there providing quality, caring, and very creative supports to the individuals we support with disabilities. Unless these essential personnel show COVID-19 symptoms or risk factors, they will remain on the front lines as champions for health, safety, life enrichment, and person-centered services while honoring the expectations outlined in the Governor's order.
Shangri-La's administrative offices in Salem, Newport, and Eugene are closed to the general public. Many of our administrative employees are working from home or by limited office hours to ensure business functions, like payroll, mail processing and interviews, continue as seamlessly as possible.
