​Shangri-La's Holiday Wishes Project helps make the holidays merry and bright for individuals served by Shangri-La who have little-to-no external support and/or would otherwise not receive holiday gifts.

​Each individual or family gets to submit wishes for items that they really need or want. Common gift wishes included clothing, coats, shoes, blankets, games, and gift certificates for opportunities in the community, like movie passes.

HOW IT WORKS

1. Select a wish to fulfill from the virtual tree between Nov. 4 - Dec. 5.
2. Purchase the gift from your favorite local or online retailer.
3. Deliver or ship the NEW, UNWRAPPED ITEM to Shangri-La's Salem Office (4080 Reed Road SE, #150, Salem, OR, 97302).

Gifts must be returned to Shangri-La by 5 p.m. on Friday, Dec. 5.

 

Through generous support from our community, each year, we fulfill over 200 gift wishes from individuals served by Shangri-La.​
